extracts, manufactures, markets and supplies salt (NaCl) in Egypt Especially in
Al-Arish and Siwa Are exported millions of tons of salt annually. The majority
of manufactured salt is intended for use in the chemical and pharmaceutical
industries. Approximately 10 percent of our annual production is designated for
de-icing.
Here
in Egypt, we extract salt at two different locations: Siwa and Arish. In Egypt
extracts salt at a site near Siwa and Arish . The subterranean salt is
dissolved in water, and the resulting brine is purified and evaporated at the
nearby salt plants. The salt released during this process is extremely
fine-grained and pure.
Road salt
The Matrix Company and other enterprises salt
plants jointly produce approximately 6 million tons of salt a year. Most of
this salt is supplied to the chlorine industry, with a substantial percentage
used in consumer applications. The portion used as road salt is supplied to
